As I promised, here is the second song, which was also the second release from this music project (I don't wanna say band). Sadly they splitted up after one year of existence. But thank god, we still can listen to their music, and thinking about, what would have been possible, if they would have been played out their complete potential.

But well, here we are: I used to need the album version and the instrumental version, which was made from the album version and not from the single or the extended version, thank god. So, here ends the story of ACT at this time. ENJOY! Floyd Anderson.

ACT! - like, ...you know? ;-) (Part 1)

Today I proudly present you a shorttime collaboration between PROPAGANDA vocalist, CLAUDIA BRÜCKEN and cult favourite electro pioneer THOMAS LEER. The pair released a handful of smart singles and one album before deciding to cut and run. Satirizing the glitz and indulgence of the entertainment industry, the first release came at a time when perhaps the public had grown weary of the promotional style of ZTT and just didn't 'buy' it. Ultimately, the duo suffered the cynicism of the industry they lampooned.

And why Part 1? Well I already now decided to lay my hands on a second song from this funny collaboration. But later more. If I'm not completely wrong, this special 'chronovisor mix' is a request from somebody sometimes back in those days. :-) This version ist chronovised, dreamtimed, crossovered, cygnetized, razormaided, disconeted, mastermixed, you name it, from the 'extended version', from the 'naked civil version' and from the 'that's entertainment version'. The diffidence of the 70s (Part 4).

Einen hier auf dem Kontinent sehr unterschaetzten britischen Musiker und seinen Kollegen will ich heute praesentieren. Bekannt wurde eines ihrer Musikstuecke nur deshalb, weil sich im deutschen Fernsehen wohl irgendjemand gedacht hatte, dieses als Kennmelodie fuer ein neues Fernsehmagazin herzunehmen.
Nun, so geschah's, Magazin und Musik wurden beruehmt, das Magazin namentlich und die Kennmelodie eben nicht. Diesem Umstand musste abgeholfen werden, indem ich mir dieses im Originalen nur 90 Sekunden langen Stueckes annahm und eine Art Radio Version daraus machte.
Als ich damit fertig war, fiel mir ein wichtiger Zusammenhang mit dem vorigen posting auf, denn diese Musiker veroeffentlichten ihre Werke groesstenteils auf dem britischen Label KPM Music Ltd. Offensichtlich ist die Musik von diesem Label sehr zu empfehlen, und natuerlich auch dieser chronovisor mix, zu dem ich gute Unterhaltung wuensche. ENJOY! Floyd Anderson.

The decadence of the 80s (Part 18).

This year the band THE HUMAN LEAGUE celebrates his 30 year anniversary, and Niels from Denmark, the administrator of a fantastic danish fan site, runs a celebration section on his site, where the best fan mixes of this band will be posted. Niels asked me, amongst others, to mix a song from the album 'Dare', which this band was getting famous with worldly wide. But in the last few weeks I heard some in such a way fantastic mixes of songs from this album that I was getting in total panic. What should I do? I decided to search after non album tracks from this aera I've done before successfully, and suddenly I got a 'flashlight' idea! Because what I spotted made me laughing out loud, and maybe you too. Hopefully this mix or one of the other ones I made, is good enough to get a chance of posting in the celebration section of Niels' website. But now ENJOY! Floyd Anderson.
