The decadence of the 80s (Part 60).

Hi folks!

Tomorrow I have to return to my old home country Austria. The trip will take five months at the maximum. The main reason ist to get a new Australian visa for the next few years. I also have to sort out other things there, and I have the opportunity to meet up my family and some of my old friends and ex-colleges again.

So today is the last posting made in Australia for a while. This one belongs to a Swiss band I really liked in the 80s and the 90s. They were one of the most innoviative new electronic musicians at that time. The todays piece of music is from their 'Golden Age' of experimental music. The 'chronovisor mix' combines the first with the second part, as simple as that.

The decadence of the 80s (Part 59).

Hallo!

Dieser music.blog ist heute drei Jahre alt geworden. Es ist nun an der Zeit auch einmal 'Danke' zu sagen fuer das grosse Interesse, dass dem Inhalt dieses blogs entgegengebracht wurde und immer noch wird. Ich werde auch in Zukunft versuchen abwechslungsreiche akustische Kost anzubieten. Der 'Stoff' kann ja niemals ausgehen, nicht wahr? ;)
Es ist mittlerweile zur Tradition geworden, heute an diesem speziellen Datum, einen Mix zu posten, der nicht von mir produziert worden ist. Der heute vorzustellende Song haette auch von mir nicht besser gemixt werden koennen, sehr konservativ angelegt, mit dem einen Ziel daraus eine einfache 12" Version zu machen. Abgesehen davon, dass mir das Musikstueck aeusserst gut gefaellt ist es ein gelungener Mix, der auch als Schallplatte in einem Recordstore haette stehen koennen.
Ich kann da nur sagen: Herzlichen Glueckwunsch!

The ignorance of the 90s (Part 25).

Willkommen in 2010! Ich hoffe, dass es euch allen gut geht, und dass ihr den Jahresanfang gut ueberstanden habt.
Der heutige 'chronovisor mix' bezieht sich auf ein musikalisches Projekt, dass Ende der 90er ziemlich erfolgreich war. Leider beschraenkt sich der Wiedererkennungswert nur auf diese beiden Lieder. Dabei waere so viel mehr Potenzial vorhanden gewesen. Schade eigentlich.
Selten noch habe ich einen bestehenden Song so sehr geklont gehoert wie hier, deshalb habe ich einfach die zwei Singleversionen genommen und aneinandergepappt, und gut wars. Aber hoert doch selbst!
