The relevance of the 00s (Part 12). [repost]

Hi folks!

Today I want to present you one of the most less known but nevertheless one of the most remarkable artists of my home country in the latter years. He really is an entertainer from another generation, and he worked for several years in Las Vegas on track of his idols, "The Rat Pack", and when you give a listen, you'll recognize, why he was able to do that.

Back in Vienna in 1999, and after meeting some ambitiously young electronic music producers he turned from a "Jazz Crooner" to an "Electronic Crooner". Ever since then he is been electrotaining people with his surrealistic fusion of his incredible and unique voice and modern club sounds. (The above information is partly taken from discogs.)

The todays famous track interestingly is part of the O.S.T. "Die Viertelliterklasse", which is an Austrian movie, a tragic comedy about alcoholism.

I myself took a bow by streeetchin' it to an easy to listen and veeery relaxing lounge track.

ENJOY!

Floyd Anderson.

The decadence of the 80s (Part 79).

Hi folks!

Today I present you a fantastic mix by ED ZONE who released it more than two years ago. These days I again came across it and I thought, it is more than good enough to put it on my music.blog.

I'm a bit lazy recently, but I try to put up mixes here at least once a month, so please be lenient with me. Currently I'm working on an edit of a French song from the 80s which was covered by an Englishman a few years later. Be surprised.

The decadence of the 80s (Part 78).

Hi folks!

Today I present you a song which I only edited a little bit, because I was not satisfied with the original version. The artist was very well known in the 70s as a member of THE SWEET. In the 80s he only recorded a few songs, and this was surely the most successfull one.

ENJOY!

Floyd Anderson.

The decadence of the 80s (Part 2). [repost]

Hi folks!

This record is a wonderful example of an electronic music composition from a hero of mine back in those days. It is almost unbelievable that this classical music studying composer brought such simple melodies to its success.

I myself only laid a slight hand on the 7'' version to make it extended and give it a little bit more of stereo effect.

ENJOY!

Floyd Anderson.
