It's now more than three years ago, that I posted the first big hit of this producers, I introduce you today.

Los niños y las niñas!

Heute praesentiere ich eine Coverversion eines Stueckes, welches 1981 ganz schoen Furore gemacht hat, und das heute ein wahrer Klassiker ist.

Fuenf Jahre spaeter also hatte sich der zu dieser Zeit musikalisch sehr umtriebige DJ ANDREAS TOMALLA bemuessigt gefuehlt mit diesem kurzlebigen Projekt, das ich heute vorstelle, seine vier Versionen dieses Stueckes verteilt auf zwei Maxisingles zu veroeffentlichen.

Ich habe einfach zwei davon genommen und zu einer langen Version editiert. So gefaellt's mir und hoffentlich auch euch!

The relevance of the 00s (Part 7). [repost]

Was ist denn DAS hier??? Retro? Funk? House? Retrofunkhouse? Oder etwa Downtempo? Keine Ahnung! I have no clue! Aber ganz zuerst: Eigentlich wollte ich in diesem Monat ja nichts mehr machen, und es steht an sich ein wichtiges Projekt an zum Fertigmachen, wo ich wirklich ran muss, ABER... Wenn einem SO eine wuchtige Nummer unterkommt, ist man im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes VERPFLICHTET was zu machen! Es hilft also alles nichts... Dieser Song ist erst 2007 veroeffentlicht worden, was ja an sich schon sensationell ist angesichts des Grooves, der direkt aus den 70ern gebeamt worden zu sein scheint. Dass hier aber noch eine perfekte "Veredelung" durch den legendaeren Liverpooler DJ GREG WILSON erfolgt ist, macht diesen Track quasi "goettlich" fuer mich. Noch dazu wurde diese spezielle "Veredelungsversion" nur als Vinyl veroeffentlicht mit einer Auflage von ganzen 300 Stueck! Und ich armer Wicht sah mich nun also angesichts all dieser Tatsachen veranlasst, dem Ganzen eine sanfte "Nachbehandlung" angedeihen zu lassen in Form eines "spatial stereo" Sounds und einer ordentlichen Extension. Also, habt Mitleid (mit mir); "don't spit on me", wie man in England sagt, und vielleicht trotzdem viel Freude damit. ENJOY! Floyd Anderson.
