The relevance of the 00s (Part 2).

It really is unbelievably almost one month gone since my last posting, and I was so euphoric after my re-start! But the reason for not posting is, that my PC was fookin' up, and the system still is not running stabile. Anyway, here is my next song.

A few postings below I told you about a band, which hasn't played out its total musical potential, mainly, because the producer let them down to produce another band, with much more international success potential, he thought. So after releasing a midquality album in the early 90s, the band splitted up, and the band members did some solo projects, BUT...
Rumours circulated in the late 90s of a PROPAGANDA reformation. Indeed Mertens was working again with Bruecken and Freytag, and in 1999 PROPAGANDAS website announced a new album was being recorded. The reformed group were set to sign with EastWest and announced plans to release a promo remix single ("No Return") on Superfly. Momentum was lost, and no official releases from the mark 3 PROPAGANDA recording sessions were forthcoming, though nine polished-sounding tracks leaked via the internet a few years on...
Now shortly I was lucky to get these tracks, and I've to say, that it's a pretty pity, that they didn't release it. But how will you know, because now you will know...
ENJOY! Floyd Anderson.

The relevance of the 00s.

Hallo music.blog.lovers!

Zitat:
18. 02. 2003: ROYKSOPP Remix for COLDPLAY, basically for their laughs:
Auf persoenlichen Wunsch von COLDPLAY Frontmann Chris Martin haben ROYKSOPP einen Song der Briten remixt. Das neue Gewand für den Opener des letzten COLDPLAY Albums "A Rush Of Blood To The Head", ist am vergangenen Wochenende fertig geworden und nun wartet man in Norwegen gespannt auf Reaktionen aus dem Vereinigten Koenigreich. "I think it's basically for their laughs", vermutet Svein Berge, eine Haelfte des Duos. "It's the first time ever they had got remixes for the music. I've been told this might be a lie just to impress us." Spass gemacht hat es aber auf jeden Fall: "Doing a remix for someone like COLDPLAY, who have a really good vocalist and they also have quite appealing harmonies, to us it was all just fun", so Berge, der nicht sicher ist, ob die Version jemals veroeffentlicht wird.

Zitatende.

Floyd Anderson.
